Addicted to Chocolate.

Isn’t everyone else?

Which is the reason why I don’t understand when someone says, I don’t like Chocolate!.

I know, I know I’m being sarcastic, but my mouth does imaginary drop in shock, and I’m partially offended when the subject comes up.

Love my Carbs

Confession time I’m trying really hard to stay away from sugar. And sugar equals carbs.

Trust me it hasn’t been easy, but I been faithful since July, 2017.

Yes! hard and exhausting on some days, but totally worth it on most days.

But theirs those days where my stress level is unbelievable, and my cravings are strong enough that any commitment can be broken.

Many times I’ve had to say “No” to chocolate cake, chocolate bars, cookies made with lots of chocolate chips, and cupcakes. And worst of all when traveling all the bakeries have the best desserts displayed.

If I had to describe how I feel. It’s almost like the world hates me and wants me to fail.

Okay I’m being a little dramatic but it sure feels like torture.

Like a broken love story, where walking away is the right thing to do. Does it make us feel good? Hell No! But it’s for our own good. 🙂

Winning My Challenge

On a positive note having self control, energy, mental focus, and determination makes it all worth  it.

If I don’t buy it, it wont be eaten. Specially my boys they don’t seem to care that the food pantry is not loaded with chips, cookies, and bread.

Which I find it very strange that my kids have never actually cared for sweets.

Handling my Craving Like a Warrior

Did I mention it’s f%^&* hard! But not impossible to survive.

Besides their are many ways to curve cravings, and if you pay close attention to what your body really needs without caving in.

What I’ve figured out for myself is that when I’m overwhelmed and cravings are at their worst.  My mind and body are screaming break. It’s time to sleep a little bit more, and time to refocus.

Finding Balance and Some Chocolate

After an intense workout this is how  I  satisfy my needs for sugar. Chocolaty Fat Bombs perfect with coffee or a glass of milk. Can’t wait to make another batch.

I did share some with my brother and sister. No complains, and recipes where requested.

Delicious smooth, creamy, nutty, and chocolaty. I literally ate this all week.

This Chocolaty Fat Bombs worked as my go to snack and guilt free experience.

Try them out and let me know if you love? xoxo
