Does anyone else feels like we’re scrapping for more time?
Our to do list seems to get bigger, and bigger with every passing day. We manage to do everything on our to do list, only to feel the overwhelming sensation that we have accomplished nothing. Our thoughts filled with questions from, should I make breakfast, load the laundry, wash the dishes, pay the bills, and the list goes on.
As I continue to question what I will attempt first, I decide to start with breakfast. Selfishly enough knowing that this decision will ease the anxiety of my overwhelming day.
There’s something sinful and satisfying when I cook. Time slows down, and I feel completely calm. As I get excited to grab every spice, and ingredient that will be needed for my unfamiliar dish.
When I’m done putting everything together. I can manage to feel that time is no longer an issue, as I sit and sip on my coffee while I wait eagerly for my creation.
